PHOTOGRAPHIC TOURS

For people who require a photographic tour tailored to their specific requirements or a venue we already offer, but at a different time of year from that shown in the brochure, we can help.  We can arrange a tour for a small group (3 or 4) of photographers and send one of our expert wildlife photographers to accompany them.  The whole package would be arranged, just like any tour we operate.  The following are just a sample of what is possible: 

Finland & Norway, Sweden

If raptors, owls, woodpeckers, Blackcock and Bears are to your liking then Finland or Sweden could be just for you.  On the other hand if you prefer Arctic Terns, waders including Ruff and Red-necked Phalarope, skuas, seabird colonies and Steller’s Eider then Norway’s Varanger Peninsula could be the place.  Leaders: Jari Peltomaki, Rebecca Nason & Charles Brown ARPS.

Oman

Oman offers splendid opportunities for photography, particularly in March, October and November when an excellent variety of bird species is present.  We have operated several photographic tours here in recent years.  Leader: Ray Tipper ARPS.

India

India has a proven track record for photography: from the Tigers of Ranthambhor to the wonderful birdlife of Bharatpur.  Leaders: Tim & Irene Loseby and Barrie Taylor.

North America

For photographers, Alaska would very possibly come out tops on the North American Continent, with a marvellous selection of birds and other wildlife including seabirds, waders and bears plus, of course, marvellous scenery.  If Polar Bears are your prime target, then Churchill is the place to go while Texas offers herons, shorebirds and the colourful specialities of the Rio Grande Valley including Green Jay, Altamira Oriole & Great Kiskadee.  Leaders:  Ray Tipper ARPS, Peter Dedicoat and Gerry Griffiths.
